Zusammen mit seinem befreundeten Taiwanesischem Assistenten hat TOBEL eine 2,70 Meter hohe und 5 Tonnen schwere Marmorskulptur verwirklicht.
TOBEL : "Es war erstaunlich, wie viel Aufmerksamkeit durch Presse, Radio und Fernsehen, alle Aktivitäten erhalten haben. Ich habe dadurch sehr am öffentliche Leben teilgenommen, wurde z.B.  zu Vorträgen an der Kunsthochschule eingeladen, habe als Kurator fungiert, war aber auch zur Amtseinführung des Ministerpräsidenten oder zum Abendessen mit einem Opern-Star geladen."

The project "SCULPTURE IN PUBLIC PROPERTY" was located in Hsinchu at the West Coast of Taiwan. Together with his Taiwanese friend and assistant TOBEL created a marble sculpture of 2,70 meters high, weighing 5 tons.
TOBEL's comments today are: "It was amazing how much attention I got thru the press, radio and television. This allowed me to participate in a large variety of public events. Not only was I invited to conferences at the Academy of Art and acted as curator, but was also asked to attend the investiture of the Prime Minister or to attend dinners with stars from the Taiwanese opera world. "
